KAISER Fahrzeugtechnik

KAISER founded its first subsidiary, KAISER Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH, in the nearby Austrian town of Nenzing in 2001. The main reason behind this move was a change in the sales structure in Austria, i.e. selling direct rather than through a distributor. KAISER Fahrzeugtechnik specialises in the sale, hire and service of mobile walking excavators as well as various third-party products in the construction machine sector. The company has successfully established itself in western Austria as a strong partner to customers in the building industry. The growth achieved over the past few years has been particularly gratifying.

Klaus Singer has been managing director of KAISER Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH since 2001. He talked about the early days of the company and its development since then:

“Having our own company in Austria enabled us to offer KAISER mobile walking excavators as well as spare parts and accessories directly to the end customer. It wasn’t long before customers recognised the great advantages of dealing with KAISER direct and we’ve been able to achieve a clear pole position in the Austrian market for mobile walking excavators. Building on from our close and long-standing contacts with customers, we’ve successively extended our range of construction machines through the addition of third-party products. With our current product portfolio of mobile walking excavators, mini/compact excavators, four-wheel dumpers, wheel loaders and tower cranes, we are able to offer our customers a wide range of equipment. Over the years, we’ve also significantly expanded our plant hire portfolio and now have five hire centres. On the service side, our customers are served not only by Nenzing but also by our own workshop in Kramsach, Tyrol – both of which cater for Kaiser municipal vehicles as well as our entire range of construction machines. The team at Kaiser Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH is proud of the fact that it makes a significant contribution towards the success of the KAISER Group.”

A book about our history

When marking our milestone birthday in 2013, our first aim was to take advantage of this opportunity for a more in-depth look at our past and also to document it. This was the context which gave rise to the idea of the book. As a result of our collaboration with the author and historian Veronika Marxer as part of our team in Schaanwald over an 18-month period, a work has been created which vividly tells the story of how the company developed from a small workshop operation to become an international industrial enterprise.

You can order copies of our anniversary book here.
